Maysa Mustafa, CEO
B.Sc., MBA
Maysa has over 13 years' experience in medical product development in the areas of Drug Delivery Systems, Vital signs monitoring, and Cardiovascular devices. Leading the product development process from concept generation through to design verification and product commercialization.
Maysa holds B.Sc. in biomedical engineering from the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology , and MBA from Tel Aviv University’s Recanati business school.
Prior to joining Ceretrieve, Maysa has worked at Elcam Medical, West Pharmaceutical, and Bendit Technologies.
Prof. Ronen Jaffe, MD, Co-founder
Prof. Ronen Jaffe is a highly regarded and internationally acclaimed interventional cardiologist. Prof. Jaffe is the director of the Interventional Cardiology and Cardiac Catheterization Unit at the Laddy Davis Carmel Medical Center, Haifa, Israel. He Earned his medical degree from Hadassah Medical School, Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Jerusalem, Israel in 1991. This was followed by residency training in internal medicine and cardiology at the Hadassah University Hospital, Mount Scopus, Jerusalem, Israel and at the Laddy Davis Carmel Medical Center, Haifa, Israel, respectively. He completed a Clinical and Research Fellowship in Interventional Cardiology at the St. Michael’s Hospital, Sunnybrook Hospital, Toronto, Canada.
Prof. Jeffe has the unique distinction of treating patients with complex coronary artery disease such as patients after coronary bypass artery grafting operations (CABG), and patients with valvular disease and high risk for surgical intervention. He has a special interest in treating aortic stenosis condition without surgery by transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI). He has performed successfully hundreds of such a complex procedure. During his career, he has performed thousands of coronary angiographies and interventions with great results.
Besides his clinical practice, Prof. Jaffe has a vast research and academic activity, and has contributed to over a hundred researches, articles and chapters. For his academic and research activity, he has been felicitated with various prestigious awards, which include Outstanding Lecturer award, Rappaport Faculty of Medicine, Technion–Israel Institute of Technology, Haifa, Israel, and Zigfrid Flugelman Medical Research Foundation: Cardiovascular research award.
Eytan Jaffe, Co-founder
B.Sc., MBA
Eytan is a patent attorney and a graduate of the Technion in mechanical engineering and business administration.
His vast experience in the field of patent practice includes the establishment and management of a patent department in a leading industrial company and the accompanying of many inventors and entrepreneurs up to the stage of registering and receiving patent protecting for their inventions.
Eytan’s professional experience includes working at a leading European patent attorney firm as the first Israeli undergoing practical training before the EPO. In Europe he attended to drafting patent applications, participated in oppositions before the European Patent Office and worked with international clients to obtain patents for their inventions at the major patent offices around the world.
His extensive experience in patenting includes a wide range of technical fields such as: medical devices, mechanical and optical devices, computer integrated systems, and more.
Barak Singer, Director
CEO, Trendlines Incubators Israel
Barak Singer has over 15 years of experience in management, business development, investment banking, and venture capital.
For the past two years, he served as VP Business Development Trendlines Medical.
Prior to joining Trendlines, Barak held a number of senior management positions, including Managing Director, Co-Head of Investment Banking, and Head of Healthcare at Tamir Fishman & Co., representing the Royal Bank of Canada’s (NYSE:RY) investment banking arm in Israel, RBC Capital Markets. He also served as VP Business Development at Can-Fite BioPharma (NYSE: CANF) and CEO of its subsidiary Ophthalix, VP Business Development at Xenia Venture Capital, and was a Co-Founder and CEO at Or Capital Healthcare Partners.
Barak received his LLB and BA in business (both with distinction) from the Interdisciplinary Center Herzliya, Israel.
Steve Rhodes, Director
Chairman & CEO, The Trendlines Group
Steve Rhodes brings decades of business, finance, and banking experience to his position at Trendlines.
He serves as the Chairman of Trendlines Incubators Israel and as Investment Committee Chair of Trendlines Medical Singapore. Steve is a director and chairman of a number of Trendlines’ portfolio companies. He founded The Trendlines Group with Todd Dollinger in 2007 and shares the positions of Chairman and CEO of Trendlines with Todd.
